This award recognises an allied health professional, such as a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, paramedic, radiographer, dietitian or speech and language therapist, whose work stands out. Judges look for outcomes, innovation and patient experience.

Additional criteria
Entries should include a concise case study, supporting figures and, where possible, feedback from patients, service users, families or colleagues. Never include information that could identify a patient or service user: describe cases in anonymised terms and give figures as percentages or ranges. Nothing in an entry is shared beyond the judging panel. Judges consider the size of the service, team or organisation, so smaller providers compete on equal terms.
